Mandatory training for the use of PU products

On August 4, 2020, the European authorities published a new restriction on diisocyanates under the 'REACH' regulation. Diisocyanates are a group of chemicals widely used in PU products due to their reactivity.

This restriction aims to prevent respiratory and skin irritation that may be caused by diisocyanates. The relevant PU products have carried a statement on the label since last year indicating the requirement for training. All professional and industrial users must undergo training and certification within 18 months, no later than August 24, 2023.

Training Requirement
